Windows 10 download keeps restarting free
I have problem with windows My download of new version of windows 10 keep restart after I switch off my laptop. This is really frustrating when you have a slow internet connection because it slow down my web browsing and system as well when it start to download again. Thus it take forever for me to download the update.
Why can't it support download resume function so I don't have to start all over again the download. For your info I cannot all the time connect my laptop to charger as it will damage my battery and I cannot take the battery out because it is built-in the laptop acer E Secondly, I have problem with my precision touchpad which make me to set it back to basic function touchpad.
The problem is when I switch on my computer it start to download and install the precision touchpad driver again which make my touchpad behave erratically. How I could stop windows update from downloading and install driver of defective hardware.

Unfortunately, we cannot resume the downloads of Windows updates. Also, be informed that, if you are in a metered connection you could not be able to complete the Windows updates.
So, I suggest you to use Wi-Fi internet connection to install windows updates faster. Also, I suggest you to run the in-built Power troubleshooter and check if it helps with system restart. Click on Control Panel.
